Claeys & Casteels in association with the European Energy Institute is proud to announce the Third Internal Energy Market Training Seminar and Conference. The Council and European Parliament have just recently reached final formal agreement on the exact text of the third energy liberalisation package. This will bring profound change to the EU's gas and electricity markets with new rules on unbundling, derogations, public service obligations, and a new decision-making processes for grid and other rules, led by two new bodies: the Regulator's European Agency and the new legally recognised TSO bodies, ENTSOE and ENTSOG. This is a particularly complex package of legislation, comprising five distinct legal acts, and a real and early understanding of its details is essential for Europe's energy industry and its advisors. Claeys & Casteels has brought together an outstanding faculty of speakers to guide delegates through this maze, combining a clause-by-clause examination of its key provisions with analysis and comment by industry and key advisors and academics on how this will be implemented in practice.
